Group Dog Training Class Schedules

10/10 would recommend. I was a skeptic with what I was convinced was a hopeless "tough case" German Shepard /Bernese Mtn Dog. Hyperactive, barked at guests, barked at us, wouldn't recall, chased the cat, picked on our other dog, actually ate more than one steak off the counter.. etc. Treats or food were the only thing this dog would cooperate for. And don't get me started on leash pulling. DTE helped my dog trust me and build up his own confidence; while teaching me how to guide him and love him the whole way. I cannot tell you how satisfied we are with his progress. Our dog is WAY calmer, holding commands and learned a few new ones. It's improved all of our lives. We are so grateful for Dog Training Elite Update SC. If you don't think you have time.. I promise you do, and your dog will love you for it.

Dog Training Elite is phenomenal. Clint and Nathan provided in home dog training for our 5 month old pups, Sami & Sofi. They were professional yet genuine in their training and methods. They made it an environment that was fun yet structured. As pet owner’s for years - we learned so much from them (as did our pups). This was one of the best investments we could have ever made, not only for our pups, but for us. The change has been truly amazing!

We had a great experience with Dog Training Elite! We were sold the minute we had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Lexi and got to learn about them and the wonderful training program. Our puppy Maggie was 12 weeks old when we started her basic training with Lexi. She was very professional, efficient and effective with training and also really fun to work with! Maggie loved her and was SO excited to see her every week. It's been such a positive experience for us as dog owners to learn how to train Maggie in a way that makes it fun and get the results that we want. We have moved through the in-home puppy classes and obedience classes and Maggie has learned all the basic commands and good manners, on leash and off, in a program that was tailored for her and the way she best learns. We feel very comfortable taking her out and about with us. We are looking forward to the Saturday group training sessions with Josh soon. Maggie is going to love it!

We reached out to Danielle regarding our 6 year old hound mix who’s part beagle and we are not sure what else. Lexi was your typical dog, behaved generally well and knew commands such as sit, stay, down, etc. She barked at pretty much anything, and would jump on anyone who walked through our door to try to lick their face. Fast forward to late 2022 we noticed Lexi become more skittish and would appear anxious since our son would at times lunge at her unexpectedly. This lasted through the year and she was getting more and more anxious. Fast forward to winter of 2023, our son HATED bath time for a bit as two year olds do, and Lexi started to not quite attack me when clean up his toys but would get aggressive and put herself between me and the toys I was trying to clean. We resorted to locking her in a room at bedtime for my safety since I was pregnant at the time. She also started going after our dog when other dogs would just walk by our home, or if we accidentally so much as stepped on her paw, she would attack our other dog, most times drawing blood. We were at a point of, “do we re-home her”, we have young children and we’re not sure we could trust her to not hurt them or us. This was a dog who completely changed from an easygoing dog to one who became so anxious with children in the home. We are BEYOND grateful to Danielle for coming and working with us, it saved our first baby and showed us that if you put in the love, time, and effort you can also have your beloved pet back. Danielle came out in the end of March for our first one on one session. After the first class we practiced the “come, off, quiet” and within that first week, we noticed a big difference with her barking, jumping on people and coming after me at bedtime. Others who came over that she normally jumped on also noticed a big difference. As the weeks went on, we continued through the program and we got Lexi to the point of being on a leash not pulling, lunging at other dogs and was able to walk along side Danielle’s dog in the final one on one. If you are hesitating, do we try this?, DO IT! We have a completely different dog back and she listens better than she ever has. We are so grateful for this training.

When we first got our Rottweiler puppy, we began to wonder if we made a mistake. She was biting, chewing on objects, jumping on people, pulling on the leash, and using the bathroom in the house. Then we hired this amazing company to help us properly train our dog. Our Stella is an unbelievable puppy with an amazingly sweet demeanor. She is so well behaved now, we have a completely different dog! She is 7 months old now, and we constantly get compliments about how well behaved she is. This trainer is worth every single dollar. The best investment you’ll ever make. Anthony is an unbelievable trainer. He understands dogs so well, assists with any questions, and is very attentive to making sure you finish training with the best dog possible. I cannot say enough good things about him and this company. 10/10 all day long!

Elite really help teach us and our dogs how to deal with those unwanted behaviors that all digs do. It's definitely about being consistent and staying positive about the process.

Hailey has been working with us and our puppy Maple for 7 lessons. She is so patient and knowledgeable. We are making amazing progress. We have been to other places for training in the past with other dogs but the advantages of in home training are so much better. Hailey is always on time and asks if there is anything specific we want to work on as well as scheduled lesson. Austin came out for the initial assessment and explained the program thoroughly. It is everything he said it would be.

We could not have asked for better trainers! The difference between our Luna and Rocky’s behavior is incredible! We would 100% recommend getting your puppies/dog’s trained by Dog Training Elite!

Clint is awesome. He listens as well as ensures your understanding of the method and why. Follow his training and you will have a dog that is adjusted and able to in public. No embarrassment from your fur buddy. You will not regret the call, unless you don't make it today. It's never to late or early to start training your dog.

We reached out to Dog Training Elite to do puppy training for our Great Dane. Before we started training we were having a really hard time getting our puppy to pay attention and listen. Throughout training and after we have a completely different dog. Stephany and Alli were amazing and always made the training fun and informative. I would recommend Dog Training Elite to anyone!

We started training with another trainer and it just wasn't working. Our girl wasn't catching on and she wasn't happy. We met a very happy Dog Training Elite customer and after their glowing review we immediately signed up. In just a few weeks Clint helped us take our girl from 'not so trained' to walking in a heel OFF leash! Her behaviors went from "meh" to 'what a well behaved dog!". She is happier and more confident. We couldn't be more pleased. Clint came and worked with our girl and taught us how to do the same. We put in the work between sessions and now we have a great dog! We highly recommend Dog Training Elite!

A great experience and worth every penny! We are first time dog owners and this was exactly what we needed.Stanly follows all commands off, sit, down wait and finally free when he can end the commands. Walking actually became dangerous as Stanley went from 2 to 6 months we were the ones being walked or pulled down the street. We now love walks our arms are relaxed and the walks are a pleasure. Dinners are normal again as Stan will PLACE and stay down until he is told to “free” Stanley loves to please so he enjoys it also. We are so glad that we chose Dog Training Elite Hill Country to help us train our young golden doodle. Gray really knows dog training. He is patient, understanding, and knowledgable. He is like the "dog whisperer". When someone can get your dog to do something in a minute that you have spent an hour on you know you have hired the right person. We knew that the training would include come, sit, down, heel, but for our dog "place" was an unexpected, much used benefit. Gray gave us a systematic approach that could be used to train and even re-train with. It was all done with sensitivity and kindness. Denise was very good at the communication side also. She made it easy and fast to get appointments and answer questions.

Great trainers who know what they are doing, They know how to get the best dog out for the best life of the dog ! Had only 3 lessons so far with astonishing results for my German Shepherd ! Looking forward to the seemly unlimited capabilities.

We signed our one year old nonsocial, fearful rescue dog up for training. She is 80 lbs and extremely strong. She was always pulling and bolting due to fear. Each day when I picked her up the progress she made was amazing. After one week she had learned 5 commands and gained so much self confidence. They were so helpful to work with us to make sure we were comfortable handling our dog. The staff is incredible and they have exceeded my expectations.

Danielle was great. We have a 10 month old bully mix who is very energetic we also have a child on the way and knew we needed help before she arrives. She helped us to get him to listen to us and follow directions both around the house and while out on walks. We have seen steady improvement with our dog as his training progresses.
